A new Super Group called SAFWES GODS has been formed by two of African music’s top Superstars. Afrobeats Pioneer Fuse ODG from the UK/Ghana and South African House Legend Heavy-K make up the group. Representing both South and West Africa, hence the double entendre in the name SAFWES, which also translates to “Key” in the Twi language.
The artist compares the ultimate sound to a breath of fresh air because it combines the dynamic tempo and intensity of afrobeat with the percussive and electronic vibes of electronic dance music.
